महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-116, verse-17

सदा यजति सत्रेण सदा दानं प्रयच्छति ।
सदा तपस्वी भवति मधुमांसस्य वर्जनात् ॥१७॥
17. sadā yajati satreṇa sadā dānaṁ prayacchati ,
sadā tapasvī bhavati madhumāṁsasya varjanāt.
