महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-116, verse-2

मांसैर्बहुविधैः प्रोक्तस्त्वया श्राद्धविधिः पुरा ।
अहत्वा च कुतो मांसमेवमेतद्विरुध्यते ॥२॥
2. māṁsairbahuvidhaiḥ proktastvayā śrāddhavidhiḥ purā ,
ahatvā ca kuto māṁsamevametadvirudhyate.
