महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-116, verse-33

लोभाद्वा बुद्धिमोहाद्वा बलवीर्यार्थमेव च ।
संसर्गाद्वाथ पापानामधर्मरुचिता नृणाम् ॥३३॥
33. lobhādvā buddhimohādvā balavīryārthameva ca ,
saṁsargādvātha pāpānāmadharmarucitā nṛṇām.

33. Among humans, the inclination towards unrighteousness (adharma) arises either from greed, or from delusion of intellect, or for the sake of strength and prowess, or from association with wicked individuals.
