महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-116, verse-45

इज्यायज्ञश्रुतिकृतैर्यो मार्गैरबुधो जनः ।
हन्याज्जन्तुं मांसगृद्ध्री स वै नरकभाङ्नरः ॥४५॥
45. ijyāyajñaśrutikṛtairyo mārgairabudho janaḥ ,
hanyājjantuṁ māṁsagṛddhrī sa vai narakabhāṅnaraḥ.
