महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-116, verse-54

ऋषिभिः संशयं पृष्टो वसुश्चेदिपतिः पुरा ।
अभक्ष्यमिति मांसं स प्राह भक्ष्यमिति प्रभो ॥५४॥
54. ṛṣibhiḥ saṁśayaṁ pṛṣṭo vasuścedipatiḥ purā ,
abhakṣyamiti māṁsaṁ sa prāha bhakṣyamiti prabho.

abhakṣyam iti māṃsam saḥ prāha bhakṣyam iti prabho
54. prabho purā ṛṣibhiḥ saṃśayam pṛṣṭaḥ cedipatiḥ
vasuḥ saḥ abhakṣyam iti māṃsam bhakṣyam iti prāha
54. O Lord, formerly, King Vasu, the lord of Chedi, when questioned by the sages on a matter of doubt, declared meat to be edible (bhakṣya), even though it was considered inedible (abhakṣya).
