महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-68, verse-48

भार्यायां जनितं पुत्रमादर्शे स्वमिवाननम् ।
ह्लादते जनिता प्रेष्क्य स्वर्गं प्राप्येव पुण्यकृत् ॥४८॥
48. bhāryāyāṁ janitaṁ putramādarśe svamivānanam ,
hlādate janitā preṣkya svargaṁ prāpyeva puṇyakṛt.
48. bhāryāyām janitam putram ādarśe svam iva ānanam
hlādate janitā preṣkya svargam prāpya iva puṇyakṛt
48. A father delights in seeing a son born from his wife, just as one delights in seeing one's own face in a mirror, or as a virtuous person rejoices upon attaining heaven.
