महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-68, verse-47

आत्मात्मनैव जनितः पुत्र इत्युच्यते बुधैः ।
तस्माद्भार्यां नरः पश्येन्मातृवत्पुत्रमातरम् ॥४७॥
47. ātmātmanaiva janitaḥ putra ityucyate budhaiḥ ,
tasmādbhāryāṁ naraḥ paśyenmātṛvatputramātaram.
47. ātmā ātmanā eva janitaḥ putraḥ iti ucyate budhaiḥ
tasmāt bhāryām naraḥ paśyet mātṛvat putramātaram
47. The wise declare that a son is indeed one's own self reborn. Therefore, a man should regard his wife, who is the mother of his son, with the same reverence as his own mother.
