महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-68, verse-68

तासां मां मेनका नाम ब्रह्मयोनिर्वराप्सराः ।
दिवः संप्राप्य जगतीं विश्वामित्रादजीजनत् ॥६८॥
68. tāsāṁ māṁ menakā nāma brahmayonirvarāpsarāḥ ,
divaḥ saṁprāpya jagatīṁ viśvāmitrādajījanat.

divaḥ samprāpya jagatīṃ viśvāmitrāt ajījanat
68. Among those Apsaras, it was Menaka, an excellent Apsara of divine origin, who, having come down from heaven to earth, gave birth to me from Vishwamitra.
