महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-68, verse-43

कान्तारेष्वपि विश्रामो नरस्याध्वनिकस्य वै ।
यः सदारः स विश्वास्यस्तस्माद्दाराः परा गतिः ॥४३॥
43. kāntāreṣvapi viśrāmo narasyādhvanikasya vai ,
yaḥ sadāraḥ sa viśvāsyastasmāddārāḥ parā gatiḥ.
43. kāntāreṣu api viśrāmaḥ narasya ādhvanikasya vai
yaḥ sadāraḥ saḥ viśvāsyaḥ tasmāt dārāḥ parā gatiḥ
43. Even in the wilderness, there is rest for a traveler. Indeed, one who has a wife is trustworthy; therefore, wives are the supreme refuge.
