महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-19, verse-74

पाञ्चालानवधीत्कर्णस्त्रिगर्तांश्च धनंजयः ।
भीमसेनः कुरून्राजन्हस्त्यनीकं च सर्वशः ॥७४॥
74. pāñcālānavadhītkarṇastrigartāṁśca dhanaṁjayaḥ ,
bhīmasenaḥ kurūnrājanhastyanīkaṁ ca sarvaśaḥ.
74. pāñcālān avadhīt karṇaḥ trigartān ca dhanaṃjayaḥ
bhīmasenaḥ kurūn rājan hastyanīkam ca sarvaśaḥ
74. rājan karṇaḥ pāñcālān avadhīt dhanaṃjayaḥ trigartān
ca bhīmasenaḥ kurūn ca hastyanīkam sarvaśaḥ
74. O king, Karṇa killed the Pāñcālas, and Arjuna (Dhananjaya) killed the Trigartas. Bhīmasena, on his part, completely destroyed the Kurus and their elephant army.
