महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-19, verse-53

साश्वारोहांश्च तुरगान्विषाणैर्बिभिदू रणे ।
अपरांश्चिक्षिपुर्वेगात्प्रगृह्यातिबलास्तथा ॥५३॥
53. sāśvārohāṁśca turagānviṣāṇairbibhidū raṇe ,
aparāṁścikṣipurvegātpragṛhyātibalāstathā.

aparān ca cikṣipuḥ vegāt pragṛhya ati-balāḥ tathā

53. The exceedingly powerful ones (atibalāḥ), using their tusks, pierced the horses along with their riders in battle. And, seizing others, they violently threw them.
