महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-19, verse-22

अभ्यर्दितस्तु तैर्जिष्णुः शक्रतुल्यपराक्रमः ।
ऐन्द्रमस्त्रममेयात्मा प्रादुश्चक्रे महारथः ।
ततः शरसहस्राणि प्रादुरासन्विशां पते ॥२२॥
22. abhyarditastu tairjiṣṇuḥ śakratulyaparākramaḥ ,
aindramastramameyātmā prāduścakre mahārathaḥ ,
tataḥ śarasahasrāṇi prādurāsanviśāṁ pate.

śakratulyaparākramaḥ aindram astram ameyātmā
prāduḥ cakre mahārathaḥ tataḥ
śarasahasrāṇi prāduḥ āsan viśām pate

taiḥ abhyarditaḥ tu ameyātmā śakratulyaparākramaḥ mahārathaḥ jiṣṇuḥ aindram astram prāduḥ cakre tataḥ śarasahasrāṇi prāduḥ āsan
22. But Jishnu (Arjuna), a great warrior (mahāratha) of immeasurable spirit (ātman) and valor equal to Indra, though assailed by them, manifested the weapon (astra) of Indra. Then, O lord of the people, thousands of arrows appeared.
