महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-19, verse-75

एवमेष क्षयो वृत्तः कुरुपाण्डवसेनयोः ।
अपराह्णे महाराज काङ्क्षन्त्योर्विपुलं जयम् ॥७५॥
75. evameṣa kṣayo vṛttaḥ kurupāṇḍavasenayoḥ ,
aparāhṇe mahārāja kāṅkṣantyorvipulaṁ jayam.

75. O great king, this destruction of the armies of the Kurus and Pāṇḍavas occurred thus in the afternoon, as both sides were longing for a great victory.
