षष्ठेन च ध्वजं राज्ञः सप्तमेन च कार्मुकम् ।
अष्टमेन तथा खड्गं पातयामास भूतले ।
पञ्चभिर्नृपतिं चापि धर्मराजोऽर्दयद्भृशम् ॥४१॥

41. ṣaṣṭhena ca dhvajaṁ rājñaḥ saptamena ca kārmukam ,
aṣṭamena tathā khaḍgaṁ pātayāmāsa bhūtale ,
pañcabhirnṛpatiṁ cāpi dharmarājo'rdayadbhṛśam.

41. With the sixth (arrow), Yudhiṣṭhira (dharma-rāja) struck down the king's banner, and with the seventh, his bow. Similarly, with the eighth (arrow), he caused his sword to fall to the ground. Yudhiṣṭhira also severely wounded the king with five (arrows).
