महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-18, verse-53

दैवयोगात्तु ते बाणा नातरन्मर्मभेदिनः ।
प्रेषिता द्विजमुख्येन मर्माण्युद्दिश्य सर्वशः ॥५३॥
53. daivayogāttu te bāṇā nātaranmarmabhedinaḥ ,
preṣitā dvijamukhyena marmāṇyuddiśya sarvaśaḥ.

preṣitāḥ dvijamukhyena marmāṇi uddiśya sarvaśaḥ

53. But those arrows, capable of piercing vital spots and dispatched by the chief of Brahmins, aiming at all the vital points, did not penetrate, due to the arrangement of destiny.
