महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-18, verse-14

सा कृत्वा स्यन्दनं भस्म हयांश्चैव ससारथीन् ।

14. Having reduced the chariot, and indeed the horses along with their charioteers, to ashes, she (the mace) quickly fell to the earth, as if splitting it, O Bhārata.
