महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-18, verse-4

तदपास्य धनुश्छिन्नं युयुत्सुर्वेगवत्तरम् ।
अन्यदादत्त सुमहच्चापं संरक्तलोचनः ॥४॥
4. tadapāsya dhanuśchinnaṁ yuyutsurvegavattaram ,
anyadādatta sumahaccāpaṁ saṁraktalocanaḥ.
4. tat apāsya dhanuḥ chinnam yuyutsuḥ vegavattaram
anyat ādattat sumahat cāpam saṃraktalocanaḥ
4. yuyutsuḥ tat chinnam dhanuḥ apāsya saṃraktalocanaḥ

4. Having cast aside that broken bow, Yuyutsu, with eyes reddened (saṃrakta), swiftly took up another very mighty bow.
