महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-18, verse-36

स च्छित्त्वा सगुणं चापं रणे तस्य महात्मनः ।
पपात धरणीं तूर्णं स्वर्णवज्रविभूषितः ।
सुतसोमस्ततोऽगच्छच्छ्रुतकीर्तेर्महारथम् ॥३६॥
36. sa cchittvā saguṇaṁ cāpaṁ raṇe tasya mahātmanaḥ ,
papāta dharaṇīṁ tūrṇaṁ svarṇavajravibhūṣitaḥ ,
sutasomastato'gacchacchrutakīrtermahāratham.

36. He (Sutasoma), having cut the strung bow of that great-souled (mahātman) opponent in battle, (watched as the bow itself), adorned with gold and diamonds, quickly fell to the ground. Then Sutasoma went to Śrutakīrti, the great warrior (mahāratha).
