महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-18, verse-3

उलूकस्तु ततः क्रुद्धस्तव पुत्रस्य संयुगे ।
क्षुरप्रेण धनुश्छित्त्वा ताडयामास कर्णिना ॥३॥
3. ulūkastu tataḥ kruddhastava putrasya saṁyuge ,
kṣurapreṇa dhanuśchittvā tāḍayāmāsa karṇinā.

3. But then, enraged, Ulūka, in that battle (saṃyuga), first cut your son's bow with a razor-sharp arrow (kṣurapra), and then struck him with a barbed arrow.
