महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-18, verse-20

निवार्य समरे चापि शरांस्तान्निशितैः शरैः ।
आजघान सुसंक्रुद्धः सुतसोमं त्रिभिः शरैः ॥२०॥
20. nivārya samare cāpi śarāṁstānniśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
ājaghāna susaṁkruddhaḥ sutasomaṁ tribhiḥ śaraiḥ.
20. nivārya samare ca api śarān tān niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ
ājaghāna susaṃkruddhaḥ sutasomam tribhiḥ śaraiḥ
20. ca api susaṃkruddhaḥ samare niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ tān
śarān nivārya tribhiḥ śaraiḥ sutasomam ājaghāna
20. And having repelled those arrows in battle with his own sharp arrows, he, greatly enraged, struck Sutasoma with three arrows.
