महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-31, verse-66

भल्लभ्यां साधुमुक्ताभ्यां छित्त्वा कर्णस्य कार्मुकम् ।
पुनः कर्णं त्रिभिर्बाणैर्बाह्वोरुरसि चार्पयत् ॥६६॥
66. bhallabhyāṁ sādhumuktābhyāṁ chittvā karṇasya kārmukam ,
punaḥ karṇaṁ tribhirbāṇairbāhvorurasi cārpayat.
