महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-31, verse-6

तस्मिन्संत्यजति प्राणान्मृत्युसाधारणीकृते ।
अजातशत्रुस्तान्योधान्भीमं त्रातेत्यचोदयत् ॥६॥
6. tasminsaṁtyajati prāṇānmṛtyusādhāraṇīkṛte ,
ajātaśatrustānyodhānbhīmaṁ trātetyacodayat.

ajātaśatruḥ tān yodhān bhīmam trātā iti acodayat
6. tasmin mṛtyusādhāraṇīkṛte prāṇān santyajati,

6. When he (Duryodhana) was abandoning his life, having been made common to death (i.e., on the verge of dying), Ajatashatru (Yudhishthira) urged those warriors towards Bhima, [proclaiming him] as their protector.
