योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-80, verse-4

भोगैरभुक्तैस्तुष्टोऽहमिति भोगान्जहाति यः ।
रुषेवासनशय्यादीन्स कथं किल शोभते ॥ ४ ॥
bhogairabhuktaistuṣṭo'hamiti bhogānjahāti yaḥ ,
ruṣevāsanaśayyādīnsa kathaṃ kila śobhate 4
4. bhogaiḥ abhuktaiḥ tuṣṭaḥ aham iti bhogān jahāti
yaḥ ruṣā eva āsanaśayyādīn sa katham kila śobhate
4. yaḥ abhuktaiḥ bhogaiḥ aham tuṣṭaḥ iti bhogān jahāti,
(yaḥ) ruṣā eva āsanaśayyādīn (jahāti),

4. He who abandons enjoyments, claiming, 'I am satisfied by pleasures not experienced,' and who abandons seats, beds, and other such things merely out of anger, how indeed can such a person shine?
