नाभिं संसारचक्रस्य चित्तमेव निरोधयेत् ।

8. One should indeed restrain the mind (citta), which is the very hub of the wheel of transmigration (saṃsāra), by means that are endowed with wisdom, kindness, and supported by scriptural knowledge.
