योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-29, verse-68

चित्तयक्षदृढाक्रान्तं न शास्त्राणि न बान्धवाः ।
शक्नुवन्ति परित्रातुं गुरवो न च मानवम् ॥ ६८ ॥

68. Neither scriptures, nor relatives, nor even spiritual teachers (gurus), are able to save a person who is firmly overcome by the demon of the mind.
