वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-46, verse-6

राममेव तु धर्मज्ञमुपगम्य विनीतवत् ।
किमहं करवाणीति सूतः प्राञ्जलिरब्रवीत् ॥६॥
6. rāmameva tu dharmajñamupagamya vinītavat ,
kimahaṃ karavāṇīti sūtaḥ prāñjalirabravīt.

kim aham karavāṇi iti sūtaḥ prāñjaliḥ abravīt

6. Then, the charioteer, humbly approaching Rama, who knew the natural law (dharma), asked with folded hands, 'What should I do?'
