वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-46, verse-30

यदहं नोपचारेण ब्रूयां स्नेहादविक्लवः ।
भक्तिमानिति तत्तावद्वाक्यं त्वं क्षन्तुमर्हसि ॥३०॥
30. yadahaṃ nopacāreṇa brūyāṃ snehādaviklavaḥ ,
bhaktimāniti tattāvadvākyaṃ tvaṃ kṣantumarhasi.
30. yat aham na upacāreṇa brūyām snehāt aviklavaḥ
bhaktimān iti tat tāvat vākyam tvam kṣantum arhasi
30. yat aham na upacāreṇa snehāt aviklavaḥ brūyām iti

30. Whatever I might say, not merely as a formality but unhesitatingly out of affection, considering that I am full of devotion (bhakti), you should indeed forgive that statement.
