वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-46, verse-50

जानामि परमां भक्तिं मयि ते भर्तृवत्सल ।
शृणु चापि यदर्थं त्वां प्रेषयामि पुरीमितः ॥५०॥
50. jānāmi paramāṃ bhaktiṃ mayi te bhartṛvatsala ,
śṛṇu cāpi yadarthaṃ tvāṃ preṣayāmi purīmitaḥ.
50. jānāmi paramām bhaktim mayi te bhartṛvatsala
śṛṇu ca api yadartham tvām preṣayāmi purīm itaḥ
50. bhartṛvatsala ! mayi te paramām bhaktim jānāmi ca api yadartham tvām itaḥ purīm preṣayāmi,
tat śṛṇu
50. O devoted servant, I know your supreme devotion (bhakti) towards me. And listen also to the purpose for which I am sending you to the city from here.
