वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-46, verse-44

न हि शक्या प्रवेष्टुं सा मयायोध्या त्वया विना ।
राजधानी महेन्द्रस्य यथा दुष्कृतकर्मणा ॥४४॥
44. na hi śakyā praveṣṭuṃ sā mayāyodhyā tvayā vinā ,
rājadhānī mahendrasya yathā duṣkṛtakarmaṇā.
44. na hi śakyā praveṣṭum sā mayā ayodhyā tvayā
vinā rājadhānī mahendrasya yathā duṣkṛtakarmaṇā
44. tvayā vinā sā ayodhyā mayā praveṣṭum na hi
śakyā yathā duṣkṛtakarmaṇā mahendrasya rājadhānī
44. Indeed, Ayodhya cannot be entered by me without you, just as the capital city of Mahendra (Indra) cannot be entered by one who has performed evil deeds.
