However, if the lord of the second and seventh houses (dvitīya-dyūna-nātha) is operative, there is affliction by fever and great fear. One should perform the offering of a goat (chāga-dāna) and chant the thousand names of Viṣṇu (Viṣṇu-Sāhasranāma).
