When the lord of the 12th house (dāyeśa) is situated in the 7th (adri), 4th (pura), or 8th (randhra) house, or is in the 12th house (vyaya) and is devoid of strength, [it leads to a decline in] Vedic rituals (yajña), vows, marriages, and so on, as well as royal splendor, wealth, and prosperity.
