स तु द्रोणं महाराज छादयन्सायकैः शितैः ।
अदृश्यमकरोत्तूर्णं जलदो भास्करं यथा ॥४१॥

41. sa tu droṇaṁ mahārāja chādayansāyakaiḥ śitaiḥ ,
adṛśyamakarottūrṇaṁ jalado bhāskaraṁ yathā.

41. But he, O great king, quickly made Droṇa invisible with sharp arrows, just as a cloud (jalada) obscures the sun (bhāskara).
