महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-101, verse-34

तोमरं तु त्रिभिर्बाणैर्द्रोणश्छित्त्वा महामृधे ।
शक्तिं चिच्छेद सहसा कृतहस्तो महाबलः ॥३४॥
34. tomaraṁ tu tribhirbāṇairdroṇaśchittvā mahāmṛdhe ,
śaktiṁ ciccheda sahasā kṛtahasto mahābalaḥ.

śaktim ciccheda sahasā kṛtahastaḥ mahābalaḥ

34. But Droṇa, mighty and skilled (kṛtahasta), in the great battle (mahāmṛdhe), having cut the spear (tomara) with three arrows, swiftly severed the dart (śakti).
