स तस्य कवचं भित्त्वा हृदयं चामितौजसः ।
अभ्यगाद्धरणीं बाणो हंसः पद्मसरो यथा ॥३६॥

36. sa tasya kavacaṁ bhittvā hṛdayaṁ cāmitaujasaḥ ,
abhyagāddharaṇīṁ bāṇo haṁsaḥ padmasaro yathā.

36. That arrow, having pierced the armor and heart of that immensely powerful warrior, reached the earth, just as a swan enters a lotus pond.
