महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-101, verse-16

कृष्णसर्पो यथा मुक्तो वल्मीकं नृपसत्तम ।
तथाभ्यगान्महीं बाणो भित्त्वा कैकेयमाहवे ॥१६॥
16. kṛṣṇasarpo yathā mukto valmīkaṁ nṛpasattama ,
tathābhyagānmahīṁ bāṇo bhittvā kaikeyamāhave.

tathā abhyagāt mahīm bāṇaḥ bhittvā kaikeyam āhave

16. O best of kings, just as a black snake, once released, seeks its anthill, so did the arrow, after piercing the Kaikeya warrior in battle, reach the ground.
