महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-91, verse-61

तामापतन्तीं संप्रेक्ष्य वियत्स्थामशनीमिव ।
उत्पत्य राक्षसस्तूर्णं जग्राह च ननाद च ॥६१॥
61. tāmāpatantīṁ saṁprekṣya viyatsthāmaśanīmiva ,
utpatya rākṣasastūrṇaṁ jagrāha ca nanāda ca.

| utpatya rākṣasaḥ tūrṇam jagrāha ca nanāda ca
61. viyatsthām aśanīm iva tām āpatantīm samprekṣya,
rākṣasaḥ tūrṇam utpatya jagrāha ca nanāda ca
61. Upon seeing that (śakti) approaching, poised in the sky like a thunderbolt, the demon quickly leaped up, caught it, and roared.
