cikṣepa tāṁ rākṣasasya tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti cābravīt.

Seeing the spear fallen and severed into two, that king (pārthiva) grasped a great missile (śakti) with a golden staff, resembling a flame of fire. He hurled it at the demon, saying, "Stop! Stop!"
