शूलं निपतितं दृष्ट्वा द्विधा कृत्तं स पार्थिवः ।
रुक्मदण्डां महाशक्तिं जग्राहाग्निशिखोपमाम् ।

sa pārthivaḥ rukmadaṇḍām agniśikhopamām mahāśaktim jagrāha tām rākṣasasya cikṣepa,

60. Seeing the spear fallen and severed into two, that king (pārthiva) grasped a great missile (śakti) with a golden staff, resembling a flame of fire. He hurled it at the demon, saying, "Stop! Stop!"
