Kings who are brave heroes and knowledgeable in the natural law (dharma) and material prosperity (artha) long for that land. Those powerful ones (tarasvinaḥ), who are not greedy for pleasures (rasāgṛddhāḥ), abandon their lives (prāṇān) in battle (āhave).
