Even a wish-fulfilling cow (kāmadhuk) yields according to its inherent quality and strength (yathāguṇabalam). Similarly, a land (bhūmiḥ) that is properly governed (samyag anuṣṭhitā) would yield great fruit for the three aims of life (dharma, artha, and kāma) (trivargasya).
