महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-10, verse-69

यथागुणबलं चापि त्रिवर्गस्य महाफलम् ।
दुह्येद्धेनुः कामधुक्च भूमिः सम्यगनुष्ठिता ॥६९॥
69. yathāguṇabalaṁ cāpi trivargasya mahāphalam ,
duhyeddhenuḥ kāmadhukca bhūmiḥ samyaganuṣṭhitā.
69. yathāguṇabalam ca api trivargasya mahāphalam
duhyet dhenuḥ kāmadhuk ca bhūmiḥ samyak anuṣṭhitā
69. dhenuḥ kāmadhuk api yathāguṇabalam (phalati),
ca samyak anuṣṭhitā bhūmiḥ ca trivargasya mahāphalam duhyet
69. Even a wish-fulfilling cow (kāmadhuk) yields according to its inherent quality and strength (yathāguṇabalam). Similarly, a land (bhūmiḥ) that is properly governed (samyag anuṣṭhitā) would yield great fruit for the three aims of life (dharma, artha, and kāma) (trivargasya).
