अर्जुन उवाच ।
कुरूणामद्य सर्वेषां भवान्सुहृदनुत्तमः ।
संबन्धी दयितो नित्यमुभयोः पक्षयोरपि ॥१॥

1. Arjuna said: 'Today, for all the Kurus, you are an unrivaled friend, and a beloved relative always, for both sides as well.'
