महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-264, verse-4

न त्वामेवंविधो भावः स्प्रष्टुमर्हति मानद ।
आत्मवन्तमिव व्याधिः पुरुषं वृद्धशीलिनम् ॥४॥
4. na tvāmevaṁvidho bhāvaḥ spraṣṭumarhati mānada ,
ātmavantamiva vyādhiḥ puruṣaṁ vṛddhaśīlinam.
4. na tvām evamvidhaḥ bhāvaḥ spraṣṭum arhati māanada
| ātmavantam iva vyādhiḥ puruṣam vṛddhaśīlinam
4. O honorable one (mānada), such a state of mind should not afflict you, just as a disease does not afflict a man who is self-controlled (ātman) and possesses a mature character.
