महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-264, verse-3

विललाप स राजेन्द्रस्तत्र कान्तामनुस्मरन् ।
कामबाणाभिसंतप्तः सौमित्रिस्तमथाब्रवीत् ॥३॥
3. vilalāpa sa rājendrastatra kāntāmanusmaran ,
kāmabāṇābhisaṁtaptaḥ saumitristamathābravīt.
3. vilalāpa saḥ rājendraḥ tatra kāntām anusmaran |
kāmabāṇābhisantaptaḥ saumitriḥ tam atha abravīt
3. That king (Rāma), remembering his beloved, lamented there, deeply afflicted by the arrows of Kāma (the god of love). Then Lakṣmaṇa (Saumitri) spoke to him.
