महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-20, verse-7

सोऽपश्यत्काञ्चनद्वारं दीप्यमानमिव श्रिया ।
मन्दाकिनीं च नलिनीं धनदस्य महात्मनः ॥७॥
7. so'paśyatkāñcanadvāraṁ dīpyamānamiva śriyā ,
mandākinīṁ ca nalinīṁ dhanadasya mahātmanaḥ.
7. saḥ apaśyat kāñcanadvāram dīpyamānam iva śriyā
mandākinīm ca nalinīm dhanadasya mahātmanaḥ

7. He saw a golden gate, shining as if with splendor, and also the Mandākinī river and a lotus pond belonging to the great-souled Kubera, the bestower of wealth.
