महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-20, verse-50

अथ सा वेपमानाङ्गी निमित्तं शीतजं तदा ।
व्यपदिश्य महर्षेर्वै शयनं चाध्यरोहत ॥५०॥
50. atha sā vepamānāṅgī nimittaṁ śītajaṁ tadā ,
vyapadiśya maharṣervai śayanaṁ cādhyarohata.

50. Then, with trembling limbs, she cited cold as a pretext and indeed ascended the great sage's bed.
