महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-20, verse-55

एतद्धि तव धर्मात्मंस्तपसः पूज्यते फलम् ।
प्रार्थितं दर्शनादेव भजमानां भजस्व माम् ॥५५॥
55. etaddhi tava dharmātmaṁstapasaḥ pūjyate phalam ,
prārthitaṁ darśanādeva bhajamānāṁ bhajasva mām.
55. etat hi tava dharmātman tapasaḥ pūjyate phalam
prārthitam darśanāt eva bhajamānām bhajasva mām
55. dharmātman hi etat tava tapasaḥ phalam pūjyate
darśanāt eva prārthitam bhajamānām mām bhajasva
55. Indeed, O virtuous soul (dharmātman), this is the revered fruit of your asceticism (tapas). Accept me, who is devoted to you, as this (request) has been made merely by my appearance.
