महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-63, verse-57

इत्युक्तो देवदेवाभ्यां सहस्राक्षोऽब्रवीद्वचः ।
आमन्त्र्य सर्वभूतानि ब्रह्मेशानानुशासनात् ॥५७॥
57. ityukto devadevābhyāṁ sahasrākṣo'bravīdvacaḥ ,
āmantrya sarvabhūtāni brahmeśānānuśāsanāt.
57. iti uktaḥ devadevābhyām sahasrākṣaḥ abravīt vacaḥ
āmantrya sarvabhūtāni brahma-īśāna-anuśāsanāt
57. sahasrākṣaḥ devadevābhyām iti uktaḥ

57. Having thus been spoken to by the two lords of gods (Brahmā and Īśāna), the thousand-eyed Indra spoke these words, addressing all beings in accordance with the command of Brahmā and Īśāna.
