महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-63, verse-32

द्यौरासीत्कर्णतो व्यग्रा सनक्षत्रा विशां पते ।
भूमिर्विशाला पार्थस्य माता पुत्रस्य भारत ॥३२॥
32. dyaurāsītkarṇato vyagrā sanakṣatrā viśāṁ pate ,
bhūmirviśālā pārthasya mātā putrasya bhārata.
32. dyauḥ āsīt karṇataḥ vyagrā sanakṣatrā viśām pate
bhūmiḥ viśālā pārthasya mātā putrasya bhārata
32. viśām pate dyauḥ sanakṣatrā karṇataḥ vyagrā āsīt.

32. O lord of men, the sky, with its stars, was agitated on Karṇa's side. O Bhārata, the vast earth was as a mother to Pārtha (Arjuna), her son.
