महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-87, verse-60

ततः स्नातः शुचिर्भूत्वा कृतकौतुकमङ्गलः ।
स्नातकानां सहस्रस्य स्वर्णनिष्कानदापयत् ।
आशीर्वादैः परिष्वक्तः सात्यकिः श्रीमतां वरः ॥६०॥
60. tataḥ snātaḥ śucirbhūtvā kṛtakautukamaṅgalaḥ ,
snātakānāṁ sahasrasya svarṇaniṣkānadāpayat ,
āśīrvādaiḥ pariṣvaktaḥ sātyakiḥ śrīmatāṁ varaḥ.
60. tataḥ snātaḥ śuciḥ bhūtvā
kṛtakautukamaṅgalaḥ snātakānām sahasrasya
svarṇaniṣkān adāpayat āśīrvādaiḥ

śuciḥ bhūtvā kṛtakautukamaṅgalaḥ

60. Then Sātyaki, the best among the illustrious, after bathing, becoming pure, and performing auspicious rites, gave golden niṣkas to a thousand graduates (snātakas), surrounded by their blessings.
