महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-67, verse-45

तस्य माताब्रवीद्वाक्यं वरुणं पुत्रकारणात् ।
अवध्योऽयं भवेल्लोके शत्रूणां तनयो मम ॥४५॥
45. tasya mātābravīdvākyaṁ varuṇaṁ putrakāraṇāt ,
avadhyo'yaṁ bhavelloke śatrūṇāṁ tanayo mama.
45. tasya mātā abravīt vākyam varuṇam putrakāraṇāt
avadhyaḥ ayam bhavet loke śatrūṇām tanayaḥ mama
45. tasya mātā putrakāraṇāt varuṇam vākyam abravīt
ayam mama tanayaḥ loke śatrūṇām avadhyaḥ bhavet
45. For her son's sake, his mother spoke these words to Varuṇa: "May this son of mine be invincible (avadhya) in the world, unkillable by enemies."
