नास्ति चाप्यमरत्वं वै मनुष्यस्य कथंचन ।
सर्वेणावश्यमर्तव्यं जातेन सरितां वरे ॥४७॥

47. nāsti cāpyamaratvaṁ vai manuṣyasya kathaṁcana ,

47. There is certainly no immortality (amaratvam) for a human being in any way. Everyone who is born must inevitably die, O best of rivers.
